Meeting Rooms

Walk in, the meeting starts. Walk out, it ends.

Every meeting today starts with the same thirty seconds of friction: find the link, click the wrong one, wait to be admitted. Samantrix removes the link entirely. Rooms are places. Walk your avatar into one and the video conference opens around you with everyone already inside. Walk back out and you have left the call cleanly.

How it works

What Meeting Rooms actually does

01

Scheduled and spontaneous

Booked meetings light the room up on the floor when it is time to start. Unbooked rooms are always available — grab an empty huddle pod and pull two people in.

02

A full conferencing surface

Video grid, screen sharing, in-call chat, reactions and speaker view — everything you expect from a dedicated conferencing tool, inside the office instead of a browser tab.

03

Recordings and transcripts

Any meeting can be recorded with clear on-screen consent. Recordings and transcripts land in the workspace, searchable and permissioned, instead of someone's downloads folder.

Capabilities

Everything included

Meeting Rooms is part of every Samantrix workspace. Availability of individual capabilities depends on your plan — the pricing page has the tier-by-tier breakdown.

  • Auto-join on room entry, auto-leave on exit
  • Adaptive video quality tuned to each participant's connection
  • Screen and window sharing with presenter handoff
  • In-meeting chat, reactions and raised hands
  • Opt-in recording with visible consent indicators
  • Searchable transcripts stored against the room
  • Room booking with calendar sync
  • Door states: open, knock-to-enter, or locked
Questions

Meeting Rooms, answered

Guests get a single-use browser link that drops them straight into the room in 2D mode. They do not need an account, an install or an avatar.

Yes. Rooms can be locked, or set to knock-to-enter so the host approves each arrival. Locked rooms are opaque from outside — no audio, no video, no participant list.

No. Recording is explicitly started by a host and every participant sees a persistent indicator while it runs. Admins can disable recording entirely for the whole workspace.

We build a demo workspace with your team names on the desks, then walk the floor with you. Thirty minutes, no slide deck.
