What we are actually building
A virtual office is easy to describe and hard to justify. The fair question is always the same: why does a company need a 3D floor plan when it already has a chat tool and a video conferencing tool that work fine?
The answer is that those tools are addressed by name. You have to decide to contact a specific person about a specific topic at an agreed time. An office is addressed by place — you discover things you did not know to ask about because you were standing near where they happened.
That is the whole thesis. Everything in Samantrix follows from it: proximity voice because distance should carry natural acoustic meaning, walk-in rooms because a meeting should be somewhere rather than a link, and automated attendance because being present is already the signal.
