The installer sets up auto-updates, tray presence and native notifications. The portable build runs without administrator rights.

  1. 1.Download the installer and run it — no administrator rights are required for a per-user install.
  2. 2.Sign in with your work email, or with your company's single sign-on if your admin has enabled it.
  3. 3.Pick your desk on your team's floor. Samantrix will keep you signed in and start with Windows if you allow it.

Notarised by Apple and signed with a Developer ID certificate. Camera and microphone permissions are requested the first time you join a room.

The AppImage needs no installation and works on most distributions. Use the .deb or .rpm package if you want desktop integration and system updates.

Download & installation questions

The browser is enough to work a full day. The desktop app adds system tray presence, native notifications, global keyboard shortcuts, smoother 3D rendering and better screen-sharing performance — which is why most daily users install it.

Yes. Windows and macOS builds update in the background and apply the new version on the next restart. AppImage users can enable in-app updates, while .deb and .rpm packages update through your system package manager.

Yes. Silent-install switches, an MSI package and configuration policy templates are available for managed Windows fleets, and macOS builds can be deployed through your MDM. Ask us and we will send the deployment guide.

Native iOS and Android clients are in development for Q4 2026. Until then, mobile browsers run the 2D office — enough to check presence, read chat and join a meeting from the road.

Every release publishes SHA-256 checksums alongside the artifacts, and Windows and macOS builds are code-signed and notarised. Compare the checksum before installing if your security policy requires it.
